Cooling Systems
Data Center Liquid Cooling Infrastructure, Engineered for High-Density Compute
As AI and GPU workloads push rack densities higher, conventional air cooling is reaching its practical limits. RexEdge engineers and manufactures liquid cooling infrastructure for data centers — the stainless-steel fluid networks, manifolds and cooling skids that carry coolant from the facility to the chip — designed to manage demanding thermal loads with precision, reliability and scalability.
Our solutions connect Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs) to high-density IT infrastructure, bringing hydraulic design, precision stainless-steel fabrication, engineered assembly and rigorous testing together in one accountable package.
From the Secondary Fluid Network (SFN) on the IT side to the Primary Fluid Network (PFN) on the facility side, RexEdge delivers deployment-ready cooling infrastructure for next-generation data centers.
Our Liquid Cooling Solutions
Secondary Fluid Network (SFN)
The engineered fluid network that connects the CDU to liquid-cooled IT equipment, also known as the Technology Cooling System (TCS) loop.
RexEdge SFN solutions deliver controlled coolant flow from CDUs to server rows, racks and direct-to-chip liquid-cooled compute, while maintaining the flow, pressure and thermal performance your IT equipment requires.
Our SFN capabilities include:
• CDU-to-rack piping networks
• Supply and return headers
• Rack and row manifolds
• Stainless-steel spools
• Skid-mounted assemblies
• Valves, fittings and instrumentation
• Quick-connect interfaces
• Engineered fabrication and assembly
Primary Fluid Network (PFN)
The facility-side cooling network that connects the data center's cooling plant to the CDU, often called the Facility Water System (FWS).
RexEdge PFN solutions are engineered for reliable heat transfer between the facility cooling system and the liquid cooling infrastructure.
Every PFN design accounts for:
• Flow requirements
• Pressure drop
• Supply and return
temperature conditions
• Redundancy
• Maintainability and ease of service

PRODUCT OVERVIEW
RexEdge's Secondary Fluid Network (SFN)
As rack densities climb with AI and high-performance computing, the network between the CDU and the rack becomes critical. RexEdge’s Secondary Fluid Network (SFN) is a custom-engineered liquid cooling distribution system: piping, headers, and connections sized for your flow, pressure, and layout. Because we design, fabricate, and test every SFN in-house, you get consistent quality, full traceability, and faster deployment, with one partner accountable from drawing to commissioning.

Why RexEdge for Data Center Liquid Cooling
- Stainless-steel expertise at the core. RexEdge manufactures stainless-steel seamless and ERW pipes and fittings, the core material of every liquid cooling network. That material knowledge goes into every system we build.
- Engineering and manufacturing under one roof. Hydraulic design, precision fabrication, assembly and testing are handled by one team, with one point of accountability.
- Built for your project, not a catalogue. Every network and skid is engineered around your layout, thermal load and deployment schedule.
- Ready to scale. Modular designs that grow with your compute, from the first data hall to the last.
MANUFACTURING CAPABILITY
Liquid cooling systems are only as reliable as the cleanliness of their piping. RexEdge fabricates its Secondary Fluid Networks with dedicated cutting, welding, and finishing equipment, then cleans, assembles, and seals them in an in-house ISO Class 8 cleanroom. This controlled environment minimises particulate contamination that could clog cold plates or damage pumps, so every SFN ships ready to install, with documented quality checks and full traceability.

How We Deliver
- Requirement review — we study your thermal load, rack density, layout and CDU selection.
- Hydraulic design and engineering — we size the network for flow, pressure drop, temperature and redundancy.
- Precision fabrication and assembly — stainless-steel spools, manifolds and skids are built in our facility.
- Testing and quality verification — assemblies are tested before dispatch.
- Delivery and site support — deployment-ready assemblies reach site with less fabrication and faster commissioning.
FREQENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The Secondary Fluid Network, also called the Technology Cooling System (TCS) loop, is the piping network that carries coolant from the Coolant Distribution Unit (CDU) to server racks and liquid-cooled IT equipment, and back again. It includes supply and return headers, rack and row manifolds, valves, instrumentation and quick-connect interfaces.
The Primary Fluid Network (PFN), or Facility Water System, connects the building's cooling plant to the CDU. The Secondary Fluid Network (SFN) connects the CDU to the IT equipment. The CDU transfers heat between the two loops so that the IT-side coolant stays clean and tightly controlled.
Stainless steel offers high cleanliness, corrosion resistance and long service life, and it is compatible with common liquid cooling fluids. This protects sensitive cold plates and quick-connects from contamination and reduces long-term maintenance.
Factory-built cooling skids reduce on-site fabrication, shorten installation and commissioning time, and deliver consistent, repeatable quality, which matters most when deploying many data halls on a fixed schedule.
Yes. RexEdge cooling systems are engineered for phased deployment, so headers, manifolds, and skids can be sized and arranged to support higher compute density as your facility grows.
